Privacy Policy

• Account information: your name, work email address, employee code, organization, and authentication information used to sign you in.
• Location and visit activity: GPS coordinates, location accuracy and timestamps, including location collected in the background while tracking is active; check-in and check-out times; routes; and customer visit records.
• Customer information: customer names, addresses, contact details and coordinates supplied by your organization or submitted in the app.
• App data: settings, synchronization status and diagnostic information needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.
• Website data: basic usage information collected through Google Analytics when you visit our website, and information you send us when you contact us.

Granola Maps requests foreground and background location permission to show routes, verify visits, and record field activity. When you are signed in and have granted location permission, tracking starts automatically and location can be collected and sent to our servers even when the app is closed or not in use. The app may temporarily keep unsent location records on your device and send them when a connection becomes available. Signing out stops tracking; you can also revoke location permission in your device settings. Location is not used for advertising.

We use this information to authenticate users, provide planned routes and customer records, validate and record visits, show field activity to authorized users in your organization, synchronize data between the app and service, maintain security, and respond to support requests.

Authorized administrators and managers at your organization can access information about its agents, routes, customers, and visits according to their permissions. We use service providers that host or support Granola Maps, including infrastructure and email delivery providers, only to operate the service. If you choose to open navigation in a map app, that app receives the destination you open and applies its own privacy policy. Google Analytics processes website usage data for us. We do not sell mobile app location data.

We use HTTPS for data sent between the app and our servers and restrict access to account and location records by role. Information is kept while your organization uses the service and as needed for applicable legal or operational requirements. To request access, correction, account deletion, or deletion of associated data, contact your organization's administrator or email us at [email protected]. We will coordinate requests involving organization managed accounts and explain if a legal retention obligation applies.
